Now in its 6TH year, the Michael Ness Golf Tournament is the marquee event for the Michael Ness Memorial Foundation.
The tournament is in memory of Michael Ness, a Brien McMahon High School graduate, proud Sigma Alpha Epsilon brother and amazing friend. After a fire hit the Ness Family home on August 18, 2013 Michael was treated at the Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital. Family and friends were met with overwhelming support and help from an amazing medical staff. Their compassion and respect to the family at such a hard time was the driving factor when choosing the benefactor for charity events in Michael's honor.In the tournaments previous five years, it has raised $75,000 for the Connecticut Burn Center. New this year the Ness Family has started the Michael Ness Memorial Foundation with the hopes of broadening our charitable contributions, still a big supporter of the Connecticut Burn Center but also happy to help burn programs & rehabiliation and scholarships.
An event filled with fun, great food, competition and great silent auction items, the 6th annual tournament is primed and ready to be the biggest one yet.
